On Sunday April 22nd 2012 the Sudanese national security and intelligence services known as NISS in Port Sudan city the capital of Red Sea state in east Sudan arrested tow Nuba political activist. They both detained from their houses , they member of the SPLM/N , one of is the director of the SPLM/N office in Port Sudan , his name is AHMAD ALI TAWR, 60 years old , and the other member of the SPLM/N, his name is AWAD AHMAD ABBAS , “age not known” .
In the NISS campaign in PortSudan against SPLM/N members, another 5 had been arrested in the same day but their names are known yet. The NISS refused to reveal the detainees location and denied visits for their families. Also the other 5 detainees destiny remain unknown .
The Sudanese Government is starting a new wave of arrests and attack on the SPLM/N members , and there are tens of its members are still detained in the NISS detentions for months now without presenting them to justice.
Arry Organization is deeply concerned about the detainees situation inside NISS detentions, as they are endanger of torture and ill-treatment , therefore we call on the Sudanese authorities to reveal their places and release them immediately or charges them , and grant them access to lawyer and family visits.

Call on the authorities to either charge the detainees with a recognizable criminal offence or release them immediately;
Call on the NISS to reveal where they are detained and grant them immediate access to family,lawyer, and to any medical treatment she might require;
Call on the authorities to immediately end the harassment and detention of Nubans on the basis of their ethnic identity.
